This class is aimed at teaching the importance of gauge and how it can affect the size of your knitting project. Blocking is a technique used to slightly adjust of a finished project using steam. Very useful for lace and openwork.

Once all that hard work is done you will need to “finish” your project.  Weaving in ends, duplicate stitch and sewing seams will be demonstrated. 

Materials needed to bring to class: Two 30 stitch swatches knit in stockinette stitch with the same yarn; one knit on size 3 needles and the other knit on size 5.

Min. of 2 students required; Max. 8 students.

About our Classes: Cancellations can be made for a complete refund 7 days before the date of the class. The Celtic Knot reserves the right to cancel the class if the minimum number of students is not met, at that time a full refund will be given to any students who have registered.

Location: All classes take place at the Celtic Knot classroom on the second floor. Please note that we have no elevator, but will be happy to help you if you need assistance.
